ATCAS is fully aware of the particularity of the air traffic control industry and the importance of keeping up with the rapidly changing and challenging air traffic control environment. Therefore, on April 3, 1998, ATCAS officially joined the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Associations (IFATCA) and became a member. Through the platform of IFATCA, ATCAS has created opportunities for hundreds of its members to participate in international conferences, regional seminars and special forums, enabling them to communicate and learn directly with industry experts. ATCAS attaches great importance to the balance between work and life. In addition to formal meetings, it also actively organizes various activities to promote communication and interaction among members. For example, friendly matches with ASEAN counterparts and visits to air traffic control facilities in other countries are very popular. Especially, the "Air Traffic Control Friendship Games" held with Malaysian counterparts since 1990 has become an annual traditional event.
