3639 - Recyclable Pencil
Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Inaugurated in 1963 as Ngee Ann College with only 116 students, Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) has grown from its humble beginnings to establish itself as one of Singapore's leading institutions of higher learning. Today, the polytechnic has a full-time enrolment of more than 16,000 students.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic ordered the Recyclable Pencil as advertising gifts. Recycled paper is wound tightly around the graphite 'lead' to form the body of the pencil. Sharpens just like a wooden pencil - actually even better as it tends to sharpen more evenly than wood. You can see the recycled paper print in the shavings! Making a small change to using recycled paper pens can have a large environmental impact over time. Use recycled and save waste, water, and energy.
